November Suppers Meal Plan

October is coming to an end fast, November is the month that for many starts the holiday season. We plan and cook Thanksgiving meals, start preparing for Christmas, shuffle children to their activities, work, clean, spend time with family, make time to take care of ourselves, as well as feed our families healthy meals. Having a plan for those healthy meals will help take some of the stress out of the month. This is what I am planning to feed my family of 5 for supper for the month of November, every meal is Trim Healthy Mama compatible. I plan for 2 leftover nights a week, this gives me a break from cooking and helps keep food waste down, truthfully sometimes on these nights the leftovers are gone so it turns into a fend for yourself night. These nights work well since our children are all old enough to handle picking out and heating up their own food. This supper meal plan is mostly THM S meals as these are the meals my husband and children prefer and they are easy to make OXs for the children. Another reason I do mostly S meals for supper is that I don’t sleep well when I have carbs in the evening. Remember we are each individual and need to learn to listen to our bodys to fuel them properly.

I am not giving you my thanksgiving menu here that is coming soon but you will see I am using leftover turkey in place of chicken in two meals after thanksgiving.
