The year is off to a speedy start. The first month is flying by, February is almost here and that means a new month's supper time meal plan.

I only meal plan suppers for the month, and freestyle my other meals.Two days a week are leftover nights,this gives me a break from cooking, and helps keep food waste down. Occasionally on these nights we don’t have any leftovers, that is when we do a fend for yourself night, or I make a simple meal out of pantry staples. We tend to eat more S meals for supper since these are the meals the family enjoys most andI do not handle carbs in the evening . They tend to keep me up at night, but there are a few E meals on the menu. I keep the sides simple and will often change them the day of the meal if I am feeling like something different, or a family member requests a different side. Most importantly this is a plan and plans sometimes change, and that is ok. I don't follow my meal plans to a tea, food cravings happen, for myself and the family. It's ok to be flexible.
