Supper time eats in May 2021

Well it’s that time a new month is almost here. May is always a busy month for our household, with birthdays, planting crops,the boys shoot trap, and it is dance recital month for our youngest. The meal plan reflects all these things, to make for less stress with the extra going on. As always I have 2 leftover nights each week one of these is on a night we have dance the other will give me a night off from cooking and these nights keep us from wasting food. Quick meals or crockpot meals are planned for nights of trap and other dance practices.

That is the biggest tip I can give to anyone that is making a meal plan look at your schedule before planning your meals. This helps you know when you will have more time for the more elaborate meals and when you need to keep them simple.

Health Happens Summer Kick off accountability with a selfcare twist

Summer is starting; let's not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the busyness of having the kids home, summer activities, gardening, yard work, family gatherings, or whatever is coming your way this summer. Let's start this summer sticking to THM, while taking care of ourselves. Just because the weather is hot and life gets busy doesn't mean we stop taking a few minutes for ourselves, we will be better for our families if we take care of ourselves.
